Shining a light on living with and managing Epilepsy

Monday 13th May
Join me in raising much needed funds for Epilepsy Tasmania. In return, I’ll be hiking my heart out,  completing an epic 220km walk to raise awareness and shed a positive light on living with and managing epilepsy.

Epilepsy Tasmania is a not-for-profit organisation, improving the quality of life for Tasmanians with epilepsy and those around them. They work to reduce the stigma surrounding epilepsy through education and support programs.

51% of Tasmanians with epilepsy have experienced discrimination in the last year as a result of their condition, in both the workplace and in schools. Epilepsy is a stigmatised and misunderstood neurological disorder that affects the quality of life for those with the condition, and their community.

I’m not only raising funds for an amazing foundation, but am hoping to be part of shifting the stigma around epilepsy and showing that with management and support, people with epilepsy can complete hard things, despite the risks and challenges. My big walk starts at Rosny Park and finishes at Chain of Lagoons, 13-23 Oct 2024.

Please donate today, and follow my journey on Instagram as I train for my seizure free summit.
